San Luis Obispo offers a wide variety of hotels and motels in all quality categories.
We recommend hotels on Monterey Street, north of downtown, since its closer to Cal Poly's campus in the north-west, as well as still in walking distance to downtown.
Our "conference hotels" with better conditions for conference participants are Apple Farm and The Kinney San Luis Obispo. Both are about a 30 minute walk to Campus or you can take FDG shuttles in mornings and evenings.
